We offer support to widows and widowers through :

a weekly drop in coffee time, Thursday mornings at People Place, Vernon.

monthly support groups, and other activities.

an annual retreat for widows and widowers, including a children's program.

grief counselling, lending library and grief resources for all ages.

North Okanagan Hospice Society provides comprehensive hospice palliative care services to residents of the North Okanagan. Care is delivered by a highly skilled and compassionate team of professional staff and volunteers, both in the community and at Hospice House. Programs include:

  • Volunteer outreach support wherever the client resides;
  • Grief and Bereavement Counselling (individual and support groups);
  • 24-hour specialized care in Hospice House.
